GALA DA INDEPEDENCIA
Angola Independence Day, celebrated on November 11th, marks the nation's liberation from Portuguese colonial rule in 1975. It symbolizes the culmination of Angola's struggle for self-determination and sovereignty and the Angolan community in Maine will be gathering this coming Sunday Nov 10, 24 in Lewiston. to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the independence of Angola.
Organized by the Angolan community leader, the event took place in Lewiston, ME
